Imus a mess
>Technorati Profile.
Don Imus has a long history of "acid tongue" remarks and he's been scolded before. It's part of his schtick.
But, seriously, at what point should he censor himself? Maybe it's too late. After his remarks about the women Rutgers basketball team (I don't need to repeat them - you've already heard all about it) he is catching fire from everyone from Al Sharpton to advertisers. Looks like MSNBC even is dropping him from his simulcast.
I'm all for free speech, but whether it's on the radio, TV or the Web we ought to be civil. You can still be controversial, even funny, and still be civil
