Ken Evoy deserves to be recognized as a "social entrepreneur" because he has transformed thousands of individuals (including me) into self-reliant, successful entrepreneurs.

Our "playground" is the Web.

Our area of expertise is the knowledge and know-how we have acquired through work experience, and other activities.

Our passion is to share it with others. We already did that, every day, anyway! Now we share it all on the Web, in a very rewarding way, in every sense of the word!

Ken has invented a way for us to actually profit from publishing what we already know, on the Web!

Profit comes easily because it costs us less than one dollar per day to self-publish on our Web sites ... and the "Action Guide" gives us step-by-step instructions on how to diversify the sources of income generated by the constantly increasing traffic that our Web site(s) get (if built according to the "Action Guide";-)

Ken Evoy is largely responsible for giving us the self-empowering tools that we use. Of course, he has surrounded himself with a bunch of highly talented and dedicated people to assist him in his mission.

Ken's wife Janice and his "power team" are essential to the success of his "social" endeavor.

But, Ken Evoy remains the "spark plug" that fires "human engines", after "human engines", into life-changing action.

Using his guidance material and server-side software tools, we can, and have, changed our lives for the better. Permanently!

Henry Ford put the steering wheel and the power of locomotion in the hands of ordinary people.

Bill Gates put the power of computing in the hands of ordinary people.

Steve Jobs put a a mouse and a friendly user interface (UI) on the personal computer so that ordinary people could make full use of it (bless him)!

Tim Berners-Lee put the Web browser ("Mosaic") and thus, the power of the Internet, in the hands of ordinary people.

Linus Torvalds unlocked the personal computer and put the power of open source computing in the hands of ordinary people.

Ken Evoy put the power to market one's own knowledge, know-how and passions in the hands of ordinary people.

The result is self-empowerment.

In short, that is why I nominated Ken Evoy as worthy of being awarded a "Ashukan Fellowship".

Claude Jollet B.Sc.A.
www.claudejollet.com
